• Basic Form: The main body of the equipment is typically laid out horizontally. The cylinder barrel, piston rod, guide sleeve, and other major components of the hydraulic cylinder are assembled horizontally, consistent with the actual working state of the cylinder.
• Core Function: Through a precise mechanical structure, pneumatic, hydraulic, or servo electric cylinder drive, in conjunction with sensors and a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) system, it automatically completes a series of actions such as component positioning, pressing, tightening, and inspection.
• Design Purpose: To solve problems such as high labor intensity, low efficiency, poor consistency (e.g., easy damage to seals during installation, uneven tightening torque), and safety hazards (heavy-duty hydraulic cylinder handling) associated with manual assembly.

A typical horizontal hydraulic cylinder disassembly and assembly machine usually includes the following systems:

• Frame and bed:

A robust steel structure that provides a stable, level reference for the entire machine.

 

 

• Cylinder and piston rod positioning and clamping mechanism:

Used to precisely fix the cylinder or piston rod, keeping the piston rod and cylinder in a coaxial position. It typically includes V-blocks or custom clamps, and the clamping mechanism is driven by a hydraulic cylinder. Alternatively, the piston rod clamping mechanism is also driven by a hydraulic cylinder to move along a guide rail, moving the piston rod to the inner position of the cylinder.

• Tightening mechanism:

Servo-driven wrench used to tighten end cap bolts, oil port connectors, etc., with precise torque control.

 

 

• The press-fitting mechanism

It uses a hydraulic motor to advance the piston rod. Based on set values, the hydraulic motor advances the piston rod to a predetermined position to complete the assembly.

Question 1: How does it know if the threads are cross threaded. Is there any way to prevent cross threading?

Answer:If misalignment occurs, the torque will increase. If the number of rotations is insufficient, machin will detect that the set torque has been exceeded, then machine will stop, and give a alarm. machine detect both torque and laps.

 

Question 2: I think we need to control the rotation speed for tightening the gland by going slow at initial and then speeding up and then slowing down again for the final torque. Is that possible?

Answer:We have a built-in acceleration feature in Program, but customers cannot adjust it; in reality, it accelerates from a slow speed. regarding the lower speed at last few laps,the lower speed is fix by Program, To ensure consistent torque during workpiece completion, we do not allow customers to set this lower speed. Different speeds result in different torque losses. but can set how many last laps perform lower speed.

 

Question 3: If program changes are needed can you remote in to do that work?

Answer: yes,HMI has wifi function,we can remote the PLC from our system.

 

 

1.Normally we will use fumigation plywood case for packaging; for some big machine, we can use steel pallet and plastic filme cover.All machines are paint with anti rust paint or oil before leaving factory.
