(1)The welding machine adopts the MIG/CO2 welding method. The welding torch rotates while the workpiece is fixed, and the welding position is horizontal. It is supported by a V-shaped bracket in the middle. The machine bed is 2 meters long.

(2) The welding torch lifting head is electrically operated.

(3) The welding power supply of the welding machine has a high-voltage, slow wire feeding arc-ignition function to ensure reliable arc ignition; and a low-voltage, low-current arc-terminating function to fill the crater.

1.The main unit is divided into three parts: upper, middle, and lower.

• The upper part houses the rotatable wire feeding mechanism.
• The middle part is the heart of the main unit. It contains the electric feed mechanism for the rotating welding head, the welding torch rotation mechanism, the conductive mechanism, the workpiece clamping mechanism, the workpiece rotation mechanism, the welding torch and its adjustment mechanism, and the protective devices.
• The lower part houses the hydraulic cylinder positioning fixture.

2.Welding torch rotation mechanism

It consists of an AC servo motor, a reducer, and a welding torch clamping mechanism. Speed ​​adjustment is achieved using an AC servo motor driver. The rotating head is equipped with a rotating gas distribution ring and a rotating current distribution ring to guide the shielding gas and welding current to the welding torch. The welding torch can rotate continuously without gas hose entanglement.

3.Welding torch clamping and adjusting mechanism

The welding torch employs a short-distance wire-pushing method to ensure stable wire feeding. The torch can be finely adjusted vertically, horizontally, and angularly. The fine-tuning uses a dovetail design with a lead screw, ensuring accurate adjustment and high positioning precision. The torch can be tightened after adjustment.

4. Transverse Electric Feed Mechanism for the Machine Head:

Driven by an AC servo motor, the mechanism moves left and right, guided by linear guides and a slider, ensuring high positioning accuracy. Enables welding at multiple oil ports.

 5.Electrical system

The main unit uses a Japanese OMRON PLC as its control core, with a three-axis CNC unit controlling the welding trajectory. It features an integrated control panel box. Control buttons, a touchscreen, and welding specification controls are all concentrated on a single panel, making it convenient to use and operate.

Manual loading → Electric lowering of welding torch → Pre-feeding of shielding gas → Arc ignition → Rotation of welding torch, electric up and down movement, welding → Reaching the set welding length → Stopping welding torch rotation → Arc termination → Stopping shielding gas supply → Automatic raising of welding torch → Moving to the next port → Repeating the above steps → All welding completed → Manual unloading.
