III.Longitudinal Seam Welding Machine with Lifting Trolley for Cylindrical Tanks Structures
1.The lifting trolley of this straight seam welding machine adopts a dual-motor independent drive design: the tail motor controls the trolley's forward and backward movement along the track, while the bottom motor drives the scissor lift or lead screw mechanism to raise and lower the platform, allowing the workpiece to reach the designated position. The trolley platform is embedded with an array of universal ball bearings, allowing the cylindrical workpiece to move flexibly in any direction after placement, facilitating rapid adjustment of the weld seam position.


2.The clamping mechanism uses a piano-key cylinder layout with independent cylinders densely arranged along both sides of the weld, enabling uniform segmented clamping to suppress thermal deformation. The copper backing on the weld backside provides thermal conductivity and forming support, stabilizing the molten pool and accelerating cooling to ensure single-sided welding with double-sided forming.


3.The equipment is equipped with a high-definition camera, allowing real-time observation of the weld formation process on the display screen. The entire machine is controlled collaboratively by a PLC and HMI, with parameters set and process data monitored via a touchscreen, making operation simple and effectively ensuring welding quality.



4.This straight seam welding machine is equipped with an independent hydraulic station for controlling the lifting and lowering of the mandrel. The hydraulic station drives the hydraulic cylinder to smoothly lift or lower the mandrel: when loading and unloading workpieces, the mandrel is lowered to a low position for easy and quick alignment; before welding, the mandrel is raised to the working height to provide stable support for the weld.
