This is a TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) vertical straight seam welding machine specifically designed for automatic welding of longitudinal seams in large tanks (such as storage tanks, towers, and reactors). Unlike common horizontal straight seam welding machines, the vertical structure is mainly designed for tanks with large diameters that cannot or are inconvenient to rotate, allowing the welding torch to move vertically to complete the longitudinal seam welding.

I. Overview
This equipment is an automated welding workstation that uses a vertical track + machine head crawling or column-beam structure to fix the TIG welding torch on a vertical moving mechanism, performing precise and stable argon arc welding along the longitudinal weld seam of the tank's outer wall. It solves the problems of large tanks being difficult to rotate in a horizontal position and the susceptibility of long, straight weld seams to defects, and is especially suitable for materials with high weld quality requirements, such as stainless steel, titanium alloys, and nickel-based alloys.

III.Machine structure
- Vertical Rail/Column: High-rigidity, precision-machined linear guide rails mounted on a fixed base ensure smooth, vibration-free movement of the welding torch.
- Welding Head: Includes: TIG welding torch (water-cooled), wire feed mechanism (optional), oscillation mechanism, adjustment mechanism, etc. Moves up and down along the rail.
- Tank Positioning and Back Gas Protection Device: The tank is vertically fixed with a copper gasket and gas chamber on the back. Argon gas is supplied to protect the back of the weld and prevent oxidation.
- Clamping Mechanism: Equipped with pneumatic cylinders to secure the workpiece. The cylinders control the copper clamps. They firmly secure long storage tanks.
- Operating Control Console: Touchscreen for easy operation and PLC control of welding parameters (current, speed, wire feed, oscillation, etc.), programmable multi-segment welding specifications.

V.Package
1.Normally we will use fumigation plywood case for packaging; for some big machine, we can use steel pallet and plastic filme cover.All machines are paint with anti rust paint or oil before leaving factory.
