I. SAW Girth Welding Machine for Tank Fabrication Overview
The SAW tank circumferential welding machine is an automated welding device designed based on the submerged arc welding (SAW) process. It employs a workpiece rotation and welding torch fixation method. The workpiece is driven to rotate by a rotating chuck at the head, while a pneumatic ejector pin at the tail provides concentric clamping, ensuring the stability and centering accuracy of the tank body during the welding process.

III.SAW Girth Welding Machine for Tank Fabrication Structures
1.Drive spindle box (including rotary chuck):
- Includes servo motor and reducer (high torque).
- Rotary chuck: Typically a manual three-jaw chuck, used to clamp one end of the workpiece and transmit torque.


2.Pneumatic tailstock (including ejector pin):
- Mounted on the bed guide rails, it can move and lock according to the workpiece length.
- Ejector pin: Holds the workpiece in place at the center hole or end face of the other end, ensuring concentricity between the workpiece and the spindle.


3.The SAW tank circumferential welding machine features a left-right swing mechanism that drives the welding torch to swing laterally via a motor, covering the bevel width; an up-down lifting mechanism that uses a DC motor to drive the lead screw and slider to move the entire machine head up and down; and a welding funnel that evenly delivers and recovers flux, protecting the molten pool and ensuring continuous welding.


4.Submerged Arc Welding System:
- Welding Power Source: Typically uses a high-power DC-1000A power supply with 100% duty cycle.
- Wire Feeding Mechanism: High-thrust wire feeder, suitable for Φ2.0-Φ4.0mm welding wire.
- Fluoride Recovery System: Automatically recovers and transports flux, saving costs.
