I.Overview
This equipment is an automated open-arc welding system specifically designed for the outer surfaces of various rollers, shafts, long rods, and cylindrical workpieces. Employing MIG/MAG welding technology, it efficiently deposits an alloy layer with high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, or specific dimensional restoration onto the outer surface of the workpiece. It is widely used in the manufacturing and remanufacturing repair of components such as metallurgical rolls, motor spindles, hydraulic cylinder piston rods, mining rollers, and ship rudder shafts.

III.machine structure
1.Main Unit (Mechanical Body)
- Headstock: Includes drive motor, reducer, and chuck, driving workpiece rotation.
- Tailstock: Pneumatically or manually clamps the workpiece, ensuring coaxiality.
- Crossbeam/Column: Supports the welding torch lifting and lateral movement mechanism, requiring high rigidity.



2.Welding System
- MAG Welding Power Supply: Generally a flat characteristic, inverter power supply with waveform control function.
- Wire Feeding Mechanism: Four-wheel or two-wheel wire feeding with speed feedback.
- Welding Torch and Water Cooling System: Forced water cooling for high current operation to prevent burn-out.



3.Welding Torch Adjustment and Oscillating Mechanism
- Cross Slide: Manually or electrically adjusts the welding torch's up/down and left/right positions.
- Oscillator: Driven by a stepper or servo motor, achieving sawtooth or crescent-shaped oscillations to cover weld overlays of varying widths.


4.Workpiece Positioning/Auxiliary Mechanism
- Welding Positioner/Roller Frame: Used to support long shafts or large cylinders.
- Anti-Axial Movement Mechanism: Prevents axial movement of the workpiece during welding.

5.Control System
- PLC/CNC Main Control Unit: Controls workpiece rotation speed, welding torch movement speed, oscillation parameters, welding start/stop, etc.
- Human Machine Interface (HMI): Stores multiple sets of process parameters and allows for one-click recall.

1.Normally we will use fumigation plywood case for packaging; for some big machine, we can use steel pallet and plastic filme cover.All machines are paint with anti rust paint or oil before leaving factory.
