This equipment is a TIG vertical circumferential welding machine, specifically designed for the automated welding of circumferential seams on large-diameter metal tanks (such as storage tanks, reaction vessels, and towers). It employs a horizontal spindle structure with workpiece rotation and a fixed welding torch, achieving digital control via an independent electrical control cabinet and equipped with a high-definition monitoring display for remote real-time observation.
This equipment solves the problems of high labor intensity, inconsistent quality, and low efficiency associated with manual welding of large-diameter tanks. It is particularly suitable for single-sided welding with double-sided forming or filler wire welding of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and titanium alloys.

III.Vertical Circular seam welder main structure
1.The TIG vertical circumferential welder employs a welding method where the welding torch is fixed and the workpiece rotates. The workpiece is driven by a rotary mechanism to achieve circumferential motion of the circumferential weld, while the welding torch is mounted on a cross slide. This cross slide consists of two sets of linear motion modules in the vertical and horizontal directions, allowing for precise movement of the welding torch in the up-down and back-and-forth directions according to the weld position. This enables weld point alignment and height adjustment, accommodating cylindrical bodies and circumferential weld structures of different diameters and lengths.


2.Welding head: Integrates a high-precision welding torch oscillation mechanism and a vertical movement mechanism, enabling precise adjustment of the welding torch's lateral oscillation and vertical direction to adapt to different weld widths and heights. The matching wire feeder supports stable and controllable feed of filler wire, ensuring weld formation quality. Simultaneously, the head has a built-in industrial camera for real-time monitoring of the welding area, facilitating remote observation. Its compact overall structure makes it suitable for all-position automated TIG welding of vertical circumferential seams in pipes, containers, and other applications.



3.Control system and monitoring display: An independent electrical control cabinet with a PLC core controller controls workpiece rotation, arc initiation, wire feeding, gas flow, and welding torch lifting. A touchscreen human-machine interface can store multiple sets of welding parameters (current, rotation speed, pre-gas supply/post-gas stop time, etc.). A high-definition color camera is installed near the welding torch, resistant to welding arc light, spatter, and high temperatures. The monitor is placed next to the operator's station for easy real-time observation of the molten pool and tungsten electrode status, avoiding direct exposure to strong light.



4.The core rotary mechanism is driven by a servo motor to rotate the workpiece. The precision linear guide slide module integrates a back gas shielding device and a high-definition camera. The former forms an inert gas protective layer on the back of the weld, effectively preventing oxidation and improving welding quality. The latter is used to monitor the molten pool and weld formation status in real time, facilitating remote observation and adjustment by operators. In addition, the bellows-shaped protective cover provides dust and splash protection for the slide and moving parts, extending the equipment's lifespan.
