I. Design Task

It will weld square welding seams automatically. Because square pipes are irregular welding seam, it is required that the welding torch can move along the welding path, and ensure that the welding specifications are as uniform as possible.

1. Two welding toches move up and down, back and forth, and adopt short-distance push-wire mechanism to ensure wire feeding stability.

2. The CNC control system is used to control 3-dimensional movement of rotation, welding torch up and down, and forward. Machine will weld the square seams with continuous welding.

3. The rotation speed of rotation axis is based on the rotary position of workpiece, to guarantee the consistency of welding linear speed.

4. During the rotation, ensure that the distance between welding torch and workpiece is constant, and the angle is almost unchanged. 

5. PLC and 5 axis CNC control system to realize the whole process, improve the reliability.

6.Welding power source has excellent ignition, arc stabilization and arc-ending performance to ensure uniform welding.

7. High-power servo motor and driver to control 3-dimensional movement.

8. Two welding torches to weld flanges at the same time to improve efficiency and reduce deformation.
