The MAG three-gun wheel welding machine is a highly efficient and automated piece of equipment specifically designed for welding steel wheel assemblies for passenger cars or commercial vehicles. Utilizing the MAG process and equipped with three welding guns, it simultaneously completes the circumferential weld between the wheel rim and spokes.

II.Machine structure
1.Rotating Spindle Box and Tailstock (or Clamping Mechanism):
Spindle Box: Contains a built-in high-torque geared motor and slewing bearing, driving the wheel rotation. The starting points of the three welding torches are typically synchronized precisely via a spindle encoder.
Tailstock/Clamping Mechanism: Used for axially clamping the wheel spokes and rim assembly.
The large air cylinder handles the macroscopic displacement of the tailstock body on the guide rail, enabling the entire tailstock to move rapidly forward and backward along the guide rail. This allows for large-stroke position switching between the tailstock and the spindle box, ensuring rapid positioning and clamping of wheels of different specifications. The small air cylinder serves as a precision fine-tuning unit for the tooling. After the tailstock body is coarsely positioned, this cylinder independently controls the tooling to move forward and backward within a small range. Its function is to achieve precise engagement or disengagement between the tooling and the wheel end face, compensating for positioning gaps to enhance clamping stability and allowing for rapid release of the tooling after welding, facilitating workpiece unloading. Thus, through the division of labor of "large-stroke coarse positioning + small-stroke fine adjustment," both the high efficiency and positioning accuracy of the equipment are balanced.


2.Three-Torch Welding Actuator
Torch Holder: Three independent two-dimensional or three-dimensional adjusting slides, each holding one of the three MAG welding torches. The torch position is precisely adjusted using dovetail ball screws, ensuring accurate welding. Once adjusted, the torch can be fixed in place.
In addition, the middle torch is equipped with a cylinder to control its vertical movement, facilitating loading/unloading and positioning for welding.



3.Welding Power Supply and Wire Feeding System
- Equipped with three digital MAG welding machines, each with individually adjustable current and voltage.
- Dual-drive wire feeder: Ensures stability during long-distance wire feeding and prevents wire slippage.


4.The electrical control system
It is based on a PLC and is equipped with a human-machine interface (touch screen). It has parameter storage function and can store welding specifications (current, voltage, speed, welding torch position, etc.) for hundreds of different wheel models, realizing "one-click model change".

1.Normally we will use fumigation plywood case for packaging; for some big machine, we can use steel pallet and plastic filme cover.All machines are paint with anti rust paint or oil before leaving factory.
